The magazine shared my professional journey, but I wanted to take a moment to share a little more about the person behind Beauty Body Skin Care.
Long before I became a business owner or esthetician, I was a daughter, a wife, a mother, and someone who always felt called to care for others.
For decades, I worked in healthcare leadership and operations, supporting patients, families, and communities through some of life's most difficult moments. Those experiences taught me that every person is carrying a story we may never fully know, and that compassion can make all the difference.
Family has always been my greatest blessing. I am the proud mother of three incredible sons and the grateful grandmother of a beautiful granddaughter.
Along the way, life also brought profound loss. I lost my mother after her courageous battle with breast cancer and later my husband, Edwin, after his fight with ALS. Those experiences forever changed how I see people, time, and the importance of simply being present.
Looking back, I realize every chapter of my life, both joyful and difficult, quietly prepared me for the work I do today.
That purpose extends beyond my business through volunteer work with Home Health & Hospice Care, CCALS, local senior programs, and independent living communities throughout New Hampshire. Giving back has become one of the most meaningful parts of my life because I understand firsthand how much kindness and compassion can matter during life's most challenging seasons.
People often ask what inspired Beauty Body Skin Care.
The answer has never been skincare alone.
It was creating a place where people could pause, breathe, and feel seen. A place where they could leave the outside world behind, even if only for a little while, and remember that caring for themselves is not selfish it is necessary.
When someone sits in my chair, I know they may be carrying stress, grief, hope, uncertainty, or dreams they have never shared aloud. While I may never know their entire story, I can offer kindness, a listening ear, and a space where they feel comfortable simply being themselves.
If there is one thing I hope you take away from my story, it is this:
Before our careers, accomplishments, or titles, we are simply human. We all long to feel seen, understood, and cared for.
Thank you for taking the time to learn a little more about me.
"Beauty begins with connection. When people feel seen, heard, and cared for, confidence naturally follows. Beauty is not just about how you see yourself. It is about how you feel in your own skin."
With gratitude,
